2018 iEARN International Conference & Youth Summit Call for Proposals is Now Open!

iEARN (The International Education and Resource Network) is pleased to announce that the 2018 International Conference and Youth Summit will be hosted by iEARN-USA in Winchester, Virginia from July 8 - 14, 2018. The theme for the 2018 conference is Global Collaboration for Sustainable Development. The 2018 conference will bring together educators, students, and partners to build global citizenship and share global-project based learning experiences and best practices. The conference will celebrate iEARN’s history and envision plans to continue to achieve the SDGs through global, collaborative project work.

BRIDGE teachers, we hope you will consider coming to the conference! It will be a great way to meet teachers you have been working with through the BRIDGE Program in person! We would also like to encourage you to present on your experience in the BRIDGE Program.

iEARN is accepting session proposals until April 15, 2018. Think about the work you have done with the BRIDGE Program and consider submitting a session for the 2018 Conference and Youth Summit relating to the theme “Global Collaboration for Sustainable Development”.

Presenters are invited to submit session proposals relating to the conference sub-themes in new and creative formats. Conference sub-themes include:

  • Collaborative Projects for Sustainable Development   
  • Youth Action and Leadership in SDGs  
  • Service Learning through Collaboration  
  • Teaching and Learning Strategies  
  • Building Leadership for Global Education  
  • Impact of Projects and Exchanges  
  • Project Design and Facilitation  
  • Technology for Collaboration and Exchange
  • Diversity and Inclusion in Global Education

Session types can include interactive workshops, ignite talks, tech/innovation labs, round tables, and posters.
